where did happily ever after go

Everyone born in the late eighties and early ninety's read the age old sweet stories like Cinderella and the prince, snow white and the seven dwarfs and other tales that had happily ever after endings.
but taking a look at the relationships i see today is a heart breaking experience. couples that really used to love one another all of a sudden turn on each other, relationships everywhere are turning into something that doesn't have a name yet but which needs to be named.the dictionary does not have a word for the kind of lives people are living.
Divorce rates are high and one is no longer ostracized for being a divorcee, back in the day a divorce was seen as a failure now its like an opportunity to get a big chunk of cash if you married right. prenuptial agreements are an almost must in the wedding day checklist if you are the careful type.
and its getting even worse, the root of the problem is a mystery to me but the symptoms are there for all to see, i dare anybody to name five truly happy couples and i bet not that many people can take me up on that.
Statistics show that cases of divorce and marital abuse are at their highest. cases of promiscuity among couples are also on the high, couple that with all the venereal diseases and youll understand why despite my charm and all am staying single.
say a prayer for couples and marriages this Sunday.

I have been reading the bible lately and i have found some really funny verses in there.
Lets start with Deuteronomy, this is the fifth book of the bible and is full of the good stuff like
Deuteronomy 23:1
"No one whose testicles are crushed or whose male organ is cut off shall enter the assembly of God.'
now if you did not have enough incentive to take good care of your "stuff" then this is it.
Then there is Deuteronomy 25:11-12
"If two men are fighting and the wife of one man comes to rescue her husband from his assailant, and she reaches out and squeezes his private parts, you shall cut off her hand, show her no pity"
so ladies don't hit below the belt

A study by scientists at Graz University has found that spermidine, a compound that is found in sperm, slows ageing processes and increases longevity in yeast, flies, worms and mice, as well as human blood cells, by protecting cells from damage.
Cell ageing happens when a natural process called autophagy – a sort of cellular cannibalism whereby damaged cells or parts of cells are recycled – goes wrong.
Spermidine concentration has been shown to decline with age.
Adding spermidine suppressed various processes associated with ageing, as well as reducing free radicals and increasing lifespan. Treated fruit flies lived 30 per cent longer than untreated ones, while worms lived 15 per cent longer.
While one researcher, Tobias Eisenberg, has been quoted as saying that this is the "holy grail of age research", and a British newspaper has prophesied the coming of a “wonder pill that could extend lifespan by up to 25 years”, the truth is that human trials, let alone treatment, are a very long way off.
In an article titled “Key to a long life found (again)”, the patient information website NHS Choices points out that while this is an exciting area for future research, it will take many more years of study including lab tests and further animal trials before it can be safely tested on humans.
The article also points out that this is at least the second elixir of eternal youth that has been 'discovered' in the last few months.
